Singh Customs is a Calgary-based custom apparel decoration business specializing in embroidery and personalized merchandise for real estate professionals, schools, and community organizations. Founded in 2021, the business was born out of both a challenge and a vision. After facing difficulties finding fair opportunities in the mechanical engineering field, founder Hardev Singh Sidhu chose to forge his own path by combining entrepreneurial spirit, community engagement, and a passion for craftsmanship.
The inspiration for Singh Customs traces back to a high school memory: receiving a personalized team hoodie that left a lasting impact. Motivated to recreate that feeling for others and inspired by a leadership experience as Financial VP in ATB Financial’s Junior Achievement program, Hardev pursued extensive research into apparel decoration beginning in 2019. The result was a niche-focused business offering high-quality, meaningful custom apparel that helps clients build their brand and identity.
Singh Customs delivers embroidery, vinyl, and digital garment printing services. While the company focuses on the real estate industry, its reach also includes school clubs, sports teams, and community organizations. A notable example is Lester B. Pearson High School, where Singh Customs has become the go-to apparel provider for various teams and clubs, including basketball, wrestling, volleyball, and robotics. The business has also expanded into broader Calgary sports, including sponsorship of the local soccer club United Nova FC, with the Singh Customs logo proudly featured on team kits.With a growing reputation for quality, personalization, and reliability, Singh Customs is poised for scale — aiming to increase production capacity and deepen its impact across Calgary’s real estate and community sectors.
